        Patricia Lizarraga

        Managing Partner

        Ms. Lizarraga is the managing partner of Hypatia Capital Group. She is responsible for the organization's strategy of sponsoring female CEOs, as well as originating proprietary private equity transactions. She has over 25 years of merchant banking experience, as well as is a founder of several successful companies. Ms. Lizarraga founded the Grupo del Ande in 1997 and is a founding and Investment Committee member of Sigma SAFI, an asset manager with over $400 million AUM of primarily middle-market fixed income investments. Prior to founding Hypatia Capital, she was the Managing Director of Credit Agricole Securities' New York mergers & acquisitions group. She started her merchant banking career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. She has also served as the President of the Privatization Committee of the Toll Roads of Peru. Ms. Lizarraga is the President of the Board of Directors of the Diller-Quaile School of Music, as well as a Trustee for the Museum of Art of Lima, Peru She also serves as an independent board member at Credicorp Ltd ( NYSE : BAP ) and Banco de Credito del Peru. 
        Ms. Lizarraga received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Yale University and her Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.

        Margaret Mager

        Senior Advisor

        Ms. Mager is a Senior Advisor at Hypatia Capital working directly with Hypatia clients. Previously, she was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs in Global Investment Research from 1995 until 2007. In this role she led a team of 19 research professionals covering more than 90 stocks across all sectors of retail. Ms. Mager was named an All Star Analyst for nine consecutive years (1999-2007) by Institutional Investor, and recognized as a top analyst in surveys by Greenwich Associates, Reuters, Starmine, and The Wall Street Journal. Her corporate and investor clients valued her industry knowledge and strategic perspective. While at Goldman Sachs, Ms. Mager assessed mergers and divestitures for strategic and financial soundness and worked on numerous primary and secondary transactions, including IPO's of Polo Ralph Lauren, Columbia Sportswear, Carter's Childrenswear, Coach, UnderArmour, Maidenform, J. Crew, and Lululemon.
        Upon leaving Goldman Sachs she became a senior advisor to the CEO of Liz Claiborne as it restructured a portfolio of 41 branded businesses. She then joined Kekst & Company as a strategic and financial communications consultant. Earlier in her career, Ms. Mager held various investment and research positions focused on the consumer sector at General American Investors, Smith Barney, Harris Upham, Inc, and Morgan Stanley. She began her career at Macy's, Inc. in FP&A.

        Margaret Covell

        Senior Advisor - Strategy and Operations

        Margaret brings over 28 years of experience working with organizations on strategy development, capability building and organizational change. In 2006, Margaret joined private equity firm Thomas H. Lee Partners (THL) as a Managing Director to build the internal Strategic Resource Group which works with portfolio company CEOs and their management teams to implement strategic initiatives, as well as operational diligence of target companies. Margaret served as a Director of the Board of Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc.

        Prior to joining THL, Margaret spent 15 years at the Monitor Group, a global strategy consulting firm. She was promoted to Partner in the initial Partnership cohort, and built and led the firm’s operations strategy business unit.

        Margaret serves as an Executive Search Advisor with Pinnacle Search Partners within their private equity practice. In addition to her advisory work, Margaret is an Executive Fellow at the Center for Higher Ambition Leadership with a focus on the private equity space.

        Margaret earned a BA in English Literature, cum laude, from Colgate University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

        Keitha Pansy

        Managing Director, Head of Investor Relations

        Keitha Y. Pansy, CPA, Managing Director, will focus on Hypatia Capital's overall fundraising strategy and investor relations, while building new relationships and managing existing relationships with Family Offices, High Net Worth Individuals, and other Retail/ Institutional Investors.

        Keitha has over 15 years of asset management experience from top global firms, including 12 years with BlackRock working within the Institutional Client Business, the Defined Contribution Business, and Business Operations. Prior to BlackRock, Keitha was a private banker at JPMorgan Private Bank where she managed relationships for ultra-high net worth clientele, consisting of individuals and family-offices. She also spent several years as a Senior Accountant within the Assurance and Business Advisory Group of ArthurAndersen.

        Keitha graduated summa cum laude from Howard University with a BBA in Accounting, and an MBA with a focus in Finance from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley.

        Jennifer Clarke

        General Counsel

        Ms. Clarke is Hypatia’s general counsel. Ms. Clarke has over 15 years of experience, both as general counsel for investment banks, including Rodman & Renshaw, and at major law firms, including Skadden Arps, Schulte Roth & Zabel and Fried Frank. She has experience in M&A transactions, both domestic and cross-border, and capital transactions ranging from private equity and private placements to IPO’s, PIPE’s and secondary offerings, for both U.S. companies and foreign issuers accessing U.S. capital markets, through direct investments and ADR offerings. Ms. Clarke has represented issuers, placement agents and investors. She holds her JD from the Boston University School of Law, and BA in Mathematics and French Literature from Wellesley College.

        Susana De la Puente

        Ms. De la Puente was Vice Chairman for Latin America at J.P. Morgan until January 2007, responsible for J.P. Morgan’s senior clients in the region. Currently, Ms. de la Puente is an advisor of several companies, including The Rohatyn Group, a New York based asset management firm focused on emerging markets.

        Ms. de la Puente has received a series of recognitions for her achievements: Euromoney named her “One of the Top Women in Finance”; CNN/Time Magazine called her “One of the 50 Young Latin American Leaders for the New Millennium”; Global Finance Magazine named her “one of the 20 Most Powerful Women in Global Finance”; Magazine Poder in conjunction with the Economist, named her the “Best Latin American Investment Banker” and America Economia named her “Top 10 Most Powerful Women in Latin America”.

        Ms. De la Puente, a native of Peru, obtained a Masters in Business Administration from the Arthur D. Little School of Management (Boston, MA.) and a Bachelor in Economics and Business Administration from the Universidad del Pacifico (Lima, Peru).

      Dawn Riley

      Dawn Riley is one of the best-known sailors in the world as well as a much sought after speaker, motivational leader and high-performance coach.

      As CEO and Captain of America True, Riley was the first woman to manage an America's Cup sailing team. She is also the first American, man or woman to have raced on three America's Cup teams and two Whitbread Round-the-World Race (now Volvo Ocean Race) sailing teams. She has also been the general manager of the French Team, Areva Challenge, her fourth America’s Cup challenge. She is the former President of the Woman’s Sports Foundation, founded by Billie Jean King and is active in many public service and political activities. Dawn serves as a board member of US SAILING, the national governing body of sailing the SCS Democratic Club, and is an advisor to many other organizations.
